Welcome!

On the vertical frame on the left hand side you can go to several pages that each display a set of six image thumbnails of my art works using fractals in a variety of ways. Each thumbnail, in turn, leads to a larger version of each image (still only a fraction of the originals) in 24-bit colour (JPEG encoded). File sizes range from about 50k-130k, and are but a tiny glimpse as to what exists in the original images. There is also a smattering of non-fractal based imagery here.

This site is it was first conceived way back in 1996, first online sometime early 1997. I hope to some day update it to the year 2007/8/9

If any one of these images strikes your fancy, please email me (fractal (at) fractalgee.com) as feedback from you is always appreciated.
If someone wants to license these images for print or other purposes, please contact me (fractal (at) fractalgee.com) and we will discuss arrangents.

These images were done in my spare time. All images on these pages are:

Under no circumstances may these images be used in any commercial venture without my prior written consent. They are for personal enjoyment, and no money may be earned from the use of these images as available on the FractIllusions webpages.
If you'd like to use any of the images email me (fractal (at) fractalgee.com) and we can work something out. I support the use of these images without prior consent from me only for your own, personal viewing pleasure. Any worthwhile non-profit organisation wishing to use images, please contact me via email (fractal (at) fractalgee.com). I'd be glad to donate art works as long as I will be credited as the creator and copyright holder.

Finally, Thank you, Charles Page of Alternet, Cape Town, South Africa. Without your kind offer of free webserver space to host the first (and now defunct) version of these pages, and for all the encouragement along the way, these images probably still would not have been seen by anyone but fellow humans to whom I can show prints in person. Or the even fewer lucky (?) ones that have seen the original versions on my computer sceen.

Thank you for the friendship and trust Charles!

Another big 'Thank You!' to the Lycaeum for hosting the second version of this website. You guys rock!

Enjoy, and return occasionally as I continually work on new images and will add them at (unfortunately VERY) irregular intervals to this site.
